Today’s Momentum Strategy Tip (MOST): Today I am introducing a strategy I developed it to instantly turn your thinking, feeling and actions in a POSITIVE MOMENTUM direction. When you use it regularly you will gain tremendous benefits. It’s simple, and powerful and here it is….
Use this technique any time you have doubts or fears, feel worried, feel anxious, or feel down. It’s a strategy to reverse our tendency to automatically ask ‘What if?’ questions that spiral us in a negative direction.
As close to noticing any of these feelings, take a slow, deep breath and ask yourself something new. Ask yourself A POSITIVE “WHAT IF” question. That’s right, A POSITIVE “WHAT IF” question! Like…….
What if things get better?
What if success is just around the corner?
What if this turns out to be fantastic?
What if I can do it?
What if I’m going to be okay?
What if it’s just something really temporary?
Practice this equal and opposite POSITIVE “WHAT IF?” Questioning. It will take practice because we all have such a powerful habit of asking the other kind of ‘what if’ questions. Stay with it even when you hear yourself say something like “This is B.S. I’m just trying to fool myself.” That’s just your the old habit speaking!
Begin to do this the next time you are afraid, worried, anxious, or feel down. When you do it regularly you will form a new a very powerful momentum habit.
