How To Rejuvenate Your Momentum Starting Today

FBPosters2

MoHow   Posted by Dr. MO       Are you feeling tired and worn out?  If you are, Sunday is a great day to start your Momentum Rejuvenation process and here are 4 suggestions to get the refreshment process going:

1. Start each day with a Rejuvenation Thought. Here is an example: “Today, and every day, I will be kind and respectful with myself. I am fully capable of accomplishing anything I begin. I will take care of myself and the result will be more positivity and energy in my life.”

2. Say “No”. On this day, and on all other days of the week, begin to establish a prioritization process where you learn to say “no” to some requests that drain your time and energy and focus more on what you begin.

3. Breathe.  At the beginning of your day, and again in the afternoon and evening before you go to sleep, sit down in a comfortable chair. Place both your hands on your belly and slowly breathe in through your nose to your abdomen, filling it so that your tummy rises and expands. Exhale through your mouth so that your tummy falls and contracts. Do this breathing daily for 2 or three minutes.

4. Smile. Any time of day close your eyes and think of something wonderful. Smile, and feel the energy of the smile ripple throughout your body. Feel the energy filling you as you breathe slowly and deeply, drinking in the imagery that is in your mind. Repeat this regularly during the day.

Remember, you are very much like a battery that needs to be recharged regularly, or else you too will go flat. Only by consciously, and purposefully,  focusing on your well-being will you will have the energy and momentum to deal well with the challenges that occur in your life.

Remember, there is a big difference between being selfish and taking care of your self…
