Welcome to the first AmMo post in the Maintain Momentum Blog. I have created AmMo to ignite, inspire and create Momentum in the morning so that you’re motivated and energized to pursue whatever is important to you with a commitment to keep going, no matter what.
You can use AmMo as a daily reminder of why it is so important to create a routine of practicing Momentum Thinking and Doing so that you can power yourself through any adversity and maintain your personal improvement Momentum.
A momentum-fostering word to generate positivity and energy, that you can use more often in your vocabulary (MoWord), and a motivational quote to provoke thinking and inspiration (MoThought), are included at the end each post.
I hope reading AmMo will get your days off to a healthier start and help you maintain momentum in your life. Here’s a very brief post to begin:
How do you start your day? Do you have a routine to help you transition from rest and sleep to being active and awake? If you don’t, over the next few days, I’m going to suggest some different ways to begin your day o that you gain and then maintain your Momentum.
Today’s Suggestion: When you awaken, continue to lie in bed with your eyes closed, for a minute or two. Gently begin to stretch from head to toe, putting tone back into your muscles. Stretch the way a cat does, enjoy the feeling of elongation. Then, slowly open your eyes and sit on edge of the bed and continue stretching for another minute. Finally, stand up, and in a space that allows for full extension, stretch all over. Tomorrow, I’ll add another suggestion.
I look forward to helping you get going with strategies, techniques and inspiration each morning.
MoWord of the Day
