MoHow Posted By: Dr. MO When you think about your life, about your days on this earth, do you think about how to live it? About what’s important in life, and how you want to be remembered? Do you think about living a life of purpose? To live our lives fully, we must live life with answers to these questions in mind.
In this post, let’s explore ways to find more purpose in our lives, to live every day with that purpose in mind, and to align our daily actions with that purpose.
Let’s consider for a moment the life that most of us lead: we get up in the morning, we do what we have to do each day, we may have some time to relax or do something fun, we may spend some time with loved ones. And we repeat this day after day.
This post is about about doing something different, it’s about choosing to live each day with a larger life plan in mind.
At any given moment, whatever is in front of us is important. that’s the trees. When we take a step back, we can start to see the forest. Doing this provides us with perspective.
If you want to live a life of purpose, here’s how to do it..
What is your purpose? Start by taking 10 minutes out of your life to find some quiet space, and to close your eyes, and to think. Ask yourself: “How do I want to be remembered? What do I want people to say about my life?” Think about that for 10 minutes. There may be number of different things.
Write it down. Put your purpose, how you want to be remembered, on your computer or a sheet of paper. Type it out, or write it, it doesn’t matter. Put it in nice, big letters. This is a draft of your life mission. Post it up somewhere visible, or make it your desktop background. Be reminded of it every day.
Morning ritual. Every morning look at your purpose. Read it out loud, and give it some thought. Ask yourself: “What can I do today to help fulfill my purpose?” Now write that down on your to-do list, something like ‘Smile at strangers‘ or ‘Call mom to say I love you’.
Align your daily actions. As much as possible, make your actions move you toward your purpose. Keep that purpose in mind throughout the day. If it helps, send yourself sms or email reminders. After a while, this will become a purposeful habit.
Evening ritual. Take a few minutes before you go to bed to look back on your day, on your actions, on what you accomplished. Write about it in a journal, or your Mopad if you are a maintain momentum member. Look at your purpose again, and think about how you will live your life with purpose tomorrow.
These are simple actions. They take energy and focus in the beginning to establish the habit, and with focus and commitment, you can make it happen. When you do, your life will be filled with more purpose, and you will live your life with more momentum, happiness, and fulfillment. May you be well..

Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.
Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to start.
Do you have any points or suggestions? Thank you

May I simply say what a comfort to find somebody that really understands
what they’re discussing on the net. You definitely understand how
to bring an issue to light and make it important.
More and more people should read this and understand this side of the story.
I was surprised that you aren’t more popular since you
surely have the gift.
Thank you for your comment and support.
When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each
time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same
comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Appreciate it!
I will do what I can. Thanks. Dr. MO
Thanks for your comment Lida. It may seem easy, however, it isn’t. it’s one thing to know what to do to create more purpose in your life. It’s another to choose to act on what you know, and then to persist with those actions over the long haul. The first step is to think about what you want to be the story of your life. The next is to remind yourself and do it!
Thanks for your comment. I love your attitude of learning and growing. if you have some thoughts you want to share about what you have learned that is helpful to you, that would be wonderful. May you be well. – Joel Simms
