How To Freshen Up Your Life

MoStory   Posted By  Dr. MO    The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. But the water close to Japan has been depleted of many species of fish for decades. So to feed the their population, the Japanese have built larger and larger fishing boats and have gone farther and farther in search of fish.
The farther the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring the fish back to Japan. When the return trip took more time, the fish were less and less fresh. To solve this problem, fish companies installed freezers on their boats. They would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go farther and stay longer.

However, the Japanese people could taste the difference between fresh and frozen fish…..and they did not like the taste of frozen fish, and as a result, the frozen fish brought a lower price.  To address this, the  fishing companies installed fish tanks on their boats. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. The problem was… this also did not work well, because after thrashing around, the fish were worn down and lost their fresh-fish taste. The fishing industry faced an impending crisis!

But today, Japanese fishermen get fresh-tasting fish to their Japan customers because of a brilliant, simple innovation. How do they do it?

To keep the fish tasting fresh, the Japanese fishing companies still put the fish in the tanks.. but now they add small sharks into the tanks. The result, the fish are challenged and need to be constantly on the move in order to survive!

The challenge they face keeps them alive and fresh!

Do you sometimes live in a stagnant pond where you thrash around? Are you sometimes tired and worn down? If your answer is yes, then consider introducing some sharks into your life.  When you do, you will be more regularly facing challenges, and your challenges will keep you energized in your search for solutions.

You have the resources, skills and abilities to make a difference. Find a shark and put it in your tank and see how far you can really go.
